Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixings is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives, this is only allowed for RACING use on circuits; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise-approved, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with public road traffic regulations and for annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
A specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer has the homologation code. If any issues occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust comes with a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight and number plate holder or other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to the transformation into race version. Misusing this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, there is a right to repair with return to GPR factory or nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
