GPR exhaust compatible with Yamaha YZ 250 F 2001-2005, Furore-X Stainless Steel, Approved and legal, complete exhaust system, with removable db killer. Is the product approved/homologated? Yes. Is the db killer removable? Altering the db killer and the related safety welds/screws violates the product's compliance and makes it illegal for road use. Is there a removable GPR catalyst? No. No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package and on YouTube. The exhaust comes with a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is NOT ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle solely on the track, without bags, without a flashlight, and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to the racing version. GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair. FURORE NERO silencer series, made with a black aluminium body and Avional caps obtained by CNC machining, painted with a ceramic treatment for high temperatures, elliptical shape 90x120mm. Collector: The specific collector is provided, including flanges, rings, and the relevant support kit, the complete GPR mounts directly on the cylinders without requiring structural modifications; after installation, it may be necessary to remap the control unit. Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this can only be done for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road does not comply with road traffic regulations. WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection. You can use the kit for the official annual inspection. Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations. The specific approval certificate is provided, as well as installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code.
