Are removable db killers allowed? Altering the db killer welds or anti-theft screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations on the road network and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In the event of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible online and on youtube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without a bag, flashlight, number plate holder, or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into a race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in warranty loss on the product and any claims will be rejected. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in exchange for the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
